Because it was a National and Non-working holiday, I spent it making Initial planning and props making with Chase. As you can see from my pose, it was super chill.

I was cleaning my hdd while waiting for my ride home when I came across this and a hell lot of backlogs I never got to publish. I think this is a really great capture by Z3LL photography . It looks so dramatic, but the truth is was fixing my gloves at this time. :))

This was also the shoot that made me go back to cosplay.

And I was happier ever since! Because I’ve embraced my geek self (*insert P4 music here*)

found ourselves randomly at burgos, walked around and found Wrong Ramen, decided to wait 10-20 minutes for a seat, slurped half a bowl of tantenmen (he had F.U. Ramen. Which is bacon, eggs, liquid breakfast ramen, not joking) and I was puking 5 minutes after we left the restaurant.

The ramen was delicious though, I guess my stomach still isn’t fully cured. I was in bed the rest of the day.

I decided to record my process so I’ll have an aid in writing the tutorial. Since I was experimenting and didn’t had a definite set of steps in mind (unlike with clothes making!) it’ll be a bit difficult for me to recall the things I did to finish this project.

I logged 11 hours =_= the longest I spent in ONE costume piece. I speed up this video of course!

BGM is Magi’s second Ending song, Bravery by Supercell. I’ll write the tutorial for this this weekend

Ja’far : Magi, Labyrinth of Magic make-up test

Obviousy wearing the wrong clothes here, and my lenses are gray because when Ja’far is angry his eyes turn gray, hahaha!

GARRRAAAHHH this Twin Snake Rope darts was a big pain in the arse to make. If you follow me on twitter you probably know how many times I had to scrap and repeat making this. I’m fairly new to props making so…it was a learning hurdle I guess. I did learn.

I made my props especially for photo shoots. And it got a special skill like making heart shapes and spelling names. :)

I’ll write about the whole make-up and props construction notes sometime next week. I’m making Ja’far’s clothes next, which I’m pretty sure will take just 5 hours tops.

Today was my day off. I had a fun time. Good night.

There’s a definitely shounen title from Miracle Jump that caught my attention last night. It’s called One Shot Demon King~ It’s a story about a cute girl finding this GARRR foreign looking guy dropping by their sweets store to claim her as his 569 years missing bride and the dragon demon king incarnate!

The art is good! Or at least it’s the type that I like * u *

I look forward to owning a Vol.1 tankobon of this. I hope they continue the story D: And not let it stay as a one-shot manga :<

Balalark Sei (Magi : Labyrinth of Magic) WIP.

I started with armors and stuff like that just 7 months ago. This is the 4th non cloth project I attempted in my whole life.

It was going so well until I was 2 steps away from finishing it.

I’ve seen Taobao Balalark Sei

…and it’s so flat that if you throw it at someone it’ll probably just bounce back. Weapons in my opinion should be ergonomic.

So I wanted mine to be 3D. I want it to have an edge, to look like it can kill so I scraped off the edges with a cutter and sanded it. It does have the shape but it was too thick for me. This blade is supposed to pierce things D: It MUST have a thin body, at least at the pointy end!

So I started all over again tonight. I’ll probably post the finished product this weekend.

What is frustration. OTL

Throwback Thursday.

To remind myself I need to get back to my old body. And gain more weight if possible. Because I easily get tired nowadays. It feels almost as if the warrior in me turned to an office lady.

There are many factors recently that gave me insecurities. It’s crazy operating daily with things that pull you back. I think I never really realized that until recently.

So let’s be proactive. Because a marred self confidence sucks.

Eat more, eat better, exercise and sleep. Let’s do this.

This is a human cover song of the funny Gakupo (Vocaloid) song called Dancing Samurai.

I used to snob vocaloid before, thinking digital music cannot compare to the energy a live and human performance gives.

But as a promise to myself I’ve been trying to jog and dance regularly. There’s this dancer called Tadanon whose moves I like and watching him a lot made me like vocaloid songs.

(My favorite dancers are Tadanon, RiRiRi, and Miume by the way.)

Anyway, here’s a track that I like. :) How’s your hump day?
